Lead a team creating and delivering real-time information to our 450+ advisors for one of the most dynamic wealth management units in the U.S. If you want to be a part of this fast-growing unit, welcome to J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.


As a strong leader and experienced communications professional, you will serve as Communications Lead for J.P. Morgan Personal Advisors, reporting to the Head of Field Communications. The goal is to keep advisors engaged and connected by delivering real-time information.


J.P. Morgan Wealth Management's newest sales channel, Personal Advisors was created to serve clients remotely. As the communications leader for this division, you will work directly with senior executives to foster a culture of collaboration and ensure the firm's vision is shared consistently across all channels.


You will develop trusted relationships; use internal technology to track engagement; offer advice on the best strategy for reaching target audiences; and uphold a strong commitment to doing the right thing for our clients and employees.


You will be part of a team of talented and experienced communications professionals who partner with several groups to design strategies, develop, edit and distribute communications every day to our field of financial advisors, senior leaders and partners. As part of the job, you will draft weekly newsletters, organize town halls and help develop key messaging for senior leaders.


The Field Communications team excels at taking complex financial and regulatory issues and making them easily digestible for the average reader. This position sits within the Content and Communications team, which reports directly to the CEO. This team is at the center of every major business initiative.

JPMorgan Chase & Co. recently acquired First Republic. The firm's wealth management business will eventually be incorporated into J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.


Main Responsibilities


  • Prepare presentations and organize hybrid and in-person employee events
  • Serve as strategic counsel and develop key messaging for the Head of Personal Advisors
  • Project manage and execute major communications initiatives
  • Write, edit and deliver written communications, including weekly newsletters
  • Promote this new unit by finding opportunities to highlight its progress within internal channels, including the intranet
  • Provide additional communications support, when needed, for other business units, including our branch-based financial advisors


Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills


  • Ethics of the highest caliber
  • Quick study of complex or technical topics with the ability to simplify those concepts into clear, precise writing and presentations
  • Ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively in a group setting and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Creative mindset and ability to generate new ideas and to respond well to changing priorities
  • 5+ years of Communications experience; Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Superior writing and verbal skills with versatility in format, including technical writing, executive messaging and copy editing
  • Must be able to produce urgent/crisis communications on demand and be able to work early mornings and evenings as needed


Preferred Qualifications


  • Proficient in Excel, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams or Monday.com
  • Experience with financial services
