About The Role

Support Culture Communications at Citi by joining the Enterprise Internal Communications team in the new role of Employee Communications Analyst. Transforming our culture is a critical foundational component of becoming a simpler, better bank. Situated within Enterprise Services and Public Affairs, our team supports Citi’s mission by:


  • Delivering excellence, simplicity and consistency in messaging;
  • Driving role clarity and efficiency in our project work using proven tools, strategies and tactics; and
  • Leveraging contemporary communication tactics to ensure colleagues at all levels; understand Citi’s culture transformation and why it is imperative for organizational success;
  • Supporting Citi’s New Way to win hearts and minds by promoting workshop attendance and habit adoption.


In this position, you’ll have leeway to explore your creativity and use your talents to solve problems.


This role requires strong critical thinking skills and intellectual curiosity, along with an understanding of Excel and basic data analysis tools and methodologies as well as attention to detail, organization, diplomacy, and excellent judgment. Quality, timeliness, and professionalism are crucial to our team’s success. You’ll gain exposure to colleagues and leaders across the organization. But wait; there’s more. We’ll provide graduate-level training in business writing, communications planning, change adoption, stakeholder management, and other areas based upon your own unique strengths and interests.


Responsibilities:


  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards
  • Design and deliver effective and engaging communications in support of campaigns and Citi culture priorities;
  • Maintain group distribution lists for various communication needs;
  • Assist with business projects and events;
  • Develop, coordinate, and execute across a variety of communication channels including intranet, articles, presentations, videos, etc;
  • Prepare and distribute internal announcements using our internal email distribution tool;


Qualifications:


  • Strong Excel skills (preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate effectively in a team environment within a heavily matrixed organization, as well as independently when required (self-starter)
  • Four-year college degree
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong writing skills
  • 2 – 4+ years of relevant experience

About The Team


Enterprise Services and Public Affairs seeks to enhance and protect the reputation of Citi, its businesses and the brand through direct and indirect communication with Citi's various stakeholders, including our colleagues. The Global Communications team is a nimble group in Enterprise Services and Public Affairs that covers a broad scope of responsibilities, ranging from executive communications and public engagements to quarterly earnings and corporate reputation programs as well as communications that support our lines of business. The nature of the work provides a dynamic environment where members of the team serve as company spokespeople to media, drive engagement with colleagues and develop external and internal digital communications for a global workforce of more than 200,000 colleagues. Within Citi, the team works with many internal partners, including senior leadership, and regularly coordinates closely with other members of the Enterprise Services and Public Affairs team across the world.
