Your temporary assignment role at Sephora: Assist in the day-to-day management of Sephora external communications efforts, including but not limited to, supporting the external communications team in managing product-driven and omni-retail programs, social impact initiatives, and specific campaign initiatives, including Holiday 2023. Support the team in the execution of daily external comms programming, like reporting, communication deliverables and administrative duties.
On this temporary assignment, you will report to the Assistant Manager, External Communications and assist with agency, media and departmental initiatives and activities. In addition, you will:
· Help direct public relations agency, assisting in planning and coordination of launch initiatives.
· Manage the External Communications calendar and marketing task list with ease.
· Assist with day-to-day communications between the internal and external cross-functional teams.
· Assist in facilitating press materials and supporting product for Sephora where appropriate (Holiday and Sephora Collection).
· Manage Sephora Collection comps and comp tracker + lead all ongoing communication with merchants surrounding comps.
· Assist in managing the External Communications budget including invoice processing and tracker.
· Manage and lead all administrative duties as required, including daily formatting and distribution of the Business Press Report.
· Assist with Beauty Director scheduling, programming and social reporting + always on interview coordination.
· Assist in planning and calendar management of award submissions and executive speaking engagements.
· Manage gathering and saving of all files on BOX, including but not limited to press releases, campaign overviews, presentation decks, collateral, recaps, etc.

· A passion for communications, media relations, storytelling, creativity and operate from a creative and solution-oriented way of thinking.
· 1 year communications experience – either in-house or agency; beauty experience is preferred.
· University degree.
· Exceptional written communication skills.
· Strong presentation capabilities, can communicate upward and laterally with ease and strong at informing partners.
· Strong organizational skills and can juggle many projects at once.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
· Independent thinker, values the capabilities and work quality of a team, has a strong understanding of internal and external clients and needs/priorities.
· Self-starter, action-oriented, resourceful, can take a project or program from start to completion.
· Ability to travel as required.

The target hourly pay for this position is $23.00 - $30.00 per hour. The actual hourly pay offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the individual applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.
