Job Description
ROLE SUMMARY
The Communication & Deployment Process Lead will support the transformation of our commercial go-to-market and existing Marketing and Customer Facing tools model. By embedding themselves deeply and partnering with our cross functional teams within the CMO to deliver significant, and sustainable advancements with our commercial breakthroughs. One of the most critical drivers of this transformation is to create standardization of Deployment activation, proficiency and sustainability excellence across 83 markets and 3 unique market categories. As a result, this new role has been created to ensure the deployment process through the Biopharma Operations 6-step implementation process and to manage/coordinate the standardization of operating model, communications, change management, training through to BAU to drive consistency, efficiencies, ad reduce redundancies through a shared services and enablement role.
The responsibilities are anchored around supporting CMO (Chief Marketing Office) initiatives across the Biopharma organization to execute on transformational and existing tools projects to meet the needs of the business and our customers. This individual must thrive in unchartered territory and be a visionary communication and change leader, responsible for standardization of deployment processes necessary to deploy transformational CMO initiatives that lead to Biopharma Ops service innovations. Whilst also having a focus on the tools training proficiency and sustainability from launch through to the BAU model.
The Communication, Deployment Process Lead will strategically collaborate with and across CMO and Commercial functions to evolve our services and operationalize the Deployment Process. The role will provide leadership, strategic thinking, for Deployment design and implementation for Marketing and Customer Facing tools in a support model, utilizing the Global way of working. The successful candidate will have a deep commitment in improving HCP and Patient outcomes, proven track record in Deployment process, communications, change management, training and creating sustainable programs and governance processes.
As a result, this role has been created to standardize and manage Deployment activation, proficiency and sustainability in a BAU model, including Strategic Operations model, colleague engagement, communication, change management and training oversight across the CMO initiated programs to drive consistency, efficiencies, and reduce redundancies through a Shared Services and Enablement role.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Whilst establishing a roadmap to advance E2E training solutions by collaborating against the Biopharma Operations, four fundamentals of Simplicity, Excellence, Scalability and Efficiency in partnership with the Learning and Development organization
  • Design and deliver transformational Deployment solutions in service of CMO initiatives and Biopharma Ops service innovations whilst ensuring the solutions have a clear and defined transition plan for communications and training through to the BAU model.
  • Reports to the CMO Deployment Process & Sustainability Vertical Lead in Global Biopharma Operations and is a key member of the CMO Deployment Process & Sustainability Vertical Leadership Team.
  • The role will design and create industry leading vision for training and commercial needs by executing on Marketing and Customer Facing tools communication and training plans. Lead the execution of colleague engagement and communications across multiple CMO Marketing and CFC initiatives through deployment process. Lead the additional dedicated responsibility for BAU communications across the following commercial Biopharma organizations; (A) Customer Experience Delivery Vertical and (B) Content Centre & Resource Management Vertical
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a collaborative environment, encouraging cross-vertical design and implementation of Marketing and Customer Facing Tools training. Promoting colleague participation and engagement whilst fostering proactive, innovative thinking and decision making. Coordinating with external vendors as applicable.
  • This role and vertical team will be dedicated to own and/or partner with other CMO Functions for the Marketing and CFC Deployment Process by designing and delivering the Deployment Playbook and the Deployment Plan providing SME expertise for operating model and change management workstreams (including communications, training oversight and expertise and post go live support through the BAU model). Utilizing a standardized, Biopharma-wide repeatable approach that works across diverse program teams and adheres to the established governance defined in the model.
  • To continually identify opportunities for relentless optimization through plans to accelerate, performance, drive efficiencies, and support simplicity goals to improve and develop on the Deployment Playbooks and Plans. Through regular CMO initiative review, best practice sharing across the vertical team and clarity of understanding creating augmentations and optimization of process. Translating the Global strategy into an execution at scale model which has repeatable process, engagement, and cost efficiencies for the wider business.
  • Has line management responsibilities for outsourced external vendor suppliers. Development, coaching and management of the 2 direct reports ensuring a timely and cost-effective output of quality and scale

  • 10+ years of Pharmaceutical commercial business experience
  • People management and leadership experience including collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated agility and ability to drive program completion in expedited timelines
  • Bachelor’s Degree, MBA or equivalent Master’s level education preferred

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $156,900.00 to $261,500.00. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
