What’s Your Role?


This is a pivotal role in PepsiCo’s Global Innovation Strategy & Performance team. The role scope includes Strategy & Portfolio Governance for PepsiCo’s Global Innovation agenda across international foods & beverages. This role provides a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to have a significant impact on PepsiCo’s Global Innovation which is a key enabler for delivering PepsiCo’s strategic growth ambition.


Responsibilities


  • Provide key learnings on innovation performance to relevant Global / Sector stakeholders
  • Elevate strategic platform prioritization and identifying critical capability unlocks and investments
  • Embed standardized scorecards to ensure transparency and timely course-correct performance to enable strategic planning in partnership with key stakeholders
  • Drive Innovation sufficiency by assessing Hopper-Pipeline identifying any sufficiency gaps/course corrects across the enterprise
  • Implement performance-driven marketplace KPIs including incremental $NR, VC%, HH penetration etc in order to drive scale, incremental, profitable, and sustained growth via innovation
  • Support in defining the role of innovation (scale, mix) in a consumer centric growth algorithm by Cluster & top markets
  • Implement an innovation stickability model to step change PEP’s innovation performance beyond launch year, and benching to external best in class
  • Collaborate with Global / Sector PPM capability team to unlock single source of truth on portfolio governance. Provide PPM team with data requirements to support portfolio governance analytics
  • Lead the analysis on Innovation KPI performance. Conduct diagnostics & provide insights based on internal data sources (PPM, Cockpit etc.) as well as external (IRI Nielsen, Kantar etc.)


Qualifications


  • Knowledge of make/move/sell in CPG & innovation strategies / core processes
  • At least 10 years of relevant work experience
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to simplify & elevate complex business issues & opportunities
  • Strategy, Finance, Marketing, Commercial or related backgrounds would be especially useful
  • Business acumen, excellent analytical & problem-solving skills. Extremely comfortable driving insight and action from large, complex data sources.
  • Ability to engage with and effectively influence senior stakeholders with the organization and across multiple functions, including challenging and comfortably managing conflict
  • Strong presentation storytelling with robust problem solving and action-oriented mindset

Reporting: This role reports into Senior Director - Global Innovation Strategy & Performance


Location: This role in based in Purchase, New York
