About The Team


The DoorDash Platform business provides premier white-label delivery (DoorDash Drive) & digital ordering solutions (DoorDash Storefront & BBOT) enabling our merchants to reach customers through their own first-party channels while leveraging their own brand identity and voice. We influence every element of our merchant partners’ business, from marketing, to customer experience, to operations.


About The Role


We are looking for a highly entrepreneurial and strategic individual who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and building. By getting deep in the problem and opportunity statements our restaurant merchants face, you will help develop & execute the strategy to grow their first party business – expanding our product portfolio with new offerings as well as driving innovation in our go-to-market strategy including distribution channels, pricing models & product positioning.


You will sit on the Platform Strategy & Ops team, manage a team of individual contributors and report into the Head of the Restaurant Platform Vertical who is one skip-level from our President & COO.


You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will…


  • Analyze. You’ll assess the growth and profitability impacts of your decisions, and iterate based on data
  • Learn. You will be immersed in our digital ordering and first party product portfolio. You will learn about the restaurant tech ecosystem, deeply understand our merchant’s needs and the best ways to go to market and win.
  • Collaborate. You will advocate internally and externally for solutions that will help our merchants grow their businesses. In addition to working with partners in the restaurant tech ecosystem, you’ll work with a highly cross-functional internal team, including sales, account management, operations, product, marketing, analytics and finance to expand our product portfolio.
  • Strategize. You will help develop the optimal strategy and prioritization to grow for our Restaurant Platform business. You will craft quarterly and annual plans that push our business forward and are aligned with our product and go to market capabilities. You will help these teams identify opportunities for enhancing our existing product offering.
  • Lead. You will drive innovation for our first party platform business, helping us determine new products to service our merchant’s needs and ways to supercharge adoption of those products through innovation in distribution, pricing and product positioning.
  • Build. You will own and build new products and business models that bring value to our merchant base.

  • Bachelor’s degree required

Compensation


The location-specific base salary range for this position is listed below. Compensation in other geographies may vary.


Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, base salary is localized according to employee work location. Please discuss your intended work location with your recruiter for more information.

In addition to base salary, the compensation package for this role also includes opportunities for equity grants.


California Pay Range:


$155,500—$247,000 USD


Colorado Pay Range:


$155,500—$222,500 USD


New Jersey Pay Range:


$155,500—$210,500 USD


New York Pay Range:


$155,500—$247,000 USD


Washington Pay Range:


$155,500—$235,000 USD
