Fiera Capital is growing its Global Performance team and is currently looking to hire a Senior Analyst and join our New York, Boston, or Toronto office. We are seeking an enthusiastic professional with at least 3 years of experience in asset management performance & attribution analysis. The ideal candidate has a proven expertise in middle office related activities and a recognized competency in communication with different audiences. This position serves as the “gatekeeper” for all data & reporting that supports: Sales & Marketing, Investments, Finance, Client Services and Regulatory Compliance. The scope in terms of asset class is wide and covers global equity and fixed income markets, multi-asset class solution, and private alternative products. Additionally, the candidate will actively participate to the integration of the acquired or merged firms.

Your responsibilities:

• Partner with Portfolio administration to remediate security and account level data issues
• Compile & Analyze performance and attribution reports, and optimally communicate results to senior management, client portfolio managers and portfolio managers
• Build and maintain composites in accordance to established procedures and GIPS compliance
• Provide performance explanations to the investment units in response to requests
• Take ownership of data quality via various controls and data validations, proposing ongoing operational improvements
• Actively participate in the implementation and maintenance of all performance measurement systems

Position Qualifications:

• Experience implementing efficient workflows, operational improvements & controls
• Fundamental love of performance reporting, investment data, data quality, processes and strategy
• Team player, results-oriented and passion for excellence
• Knowledge of data entities such as securities, pricing, position, transaction, indices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in order to identify issues or unusual activity
• Previous experience implementing data management, performance & attribution systems
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Powerpoint and Visio would be an asset
• Three years or more experience in the financial services industry, preferably in a performance reporting capacity
• Programming skill including SQL, VBA, PYTHON, C#, R, MATLAB, SAS or any other relevant programming languages, is considered strong asset
• Software experience preferred: (FactSet, StatPro, Eagle, Advent APX, Charles River, Markit EDM, Morningstar)
• Advanced knowledge of the reporting requirements across multiple distribution channels (’40 Act & Private Funds, Institutional SMA, Retail HNW)
• Working knowledge of U.S. and non-U.S. security types including equities, currency forwards, loans, bonds, interest rate swaps, credit default swaps, synthetic notes, OTC securities, futures, etc.
• A good understanding of external data vendors such as Bloomberg, IDC, Reuters, Rimes, Vestek, etc.
• A command of Performance Reporting and industry best practices, including GIPS

Additional Information:

• Fiera Capital adheres to a hybrid working environment with 3 days in-office per week

Compensation: 80,000 to 95,000K USD for New York/Boston, and 80,000 to 95,000 CAD for Toronto, commensurate with experience.
