Channel Projects, Order Specialist - Inside Parameters

The Channel Projects -Small Project Team ( SPE) is growing and we are seeking eager, resilient, emotionally intelligent, customer centric, team players to join our team! This position will require you to have the ability to work either Eastern or Central time zones.

The SPE teams offers a tremendous opportunity to learn all aspects of our channel led business. The team engages daily with our manufacturing plants, distribution centers, sales organization, and channel partners. We are a very fast paced and empowered team environment. Due to the consistent work volume, our success is dependent on the overall strength of the team. We win and lose together. Every day is different and we are consistently faced with new challenges, opportunities, and customer conflicts! This role is not for everyone. While demanding it is equally rewarding.

What do you get to do in this position?

Channel Projects, Order Specialist is accountable for the execution of post order conversion request from the distribution/channel partner who serves as the Project Manager of the order. Order Specialist, develops and maintains positive customer relations and coordinates with various functions within Schneider Electric to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner. Order Specialist facilitates order maintenance and corrective action to address customers project needs. Order maintenance activities include but are not limited to: change orders; warranty claims; expedite request; shipping re consignments; coordination of services and system studies; freight claims; post-delivery quality issues; and claims resolution. This customer facing role requires demonstrated account management and relationship development experience. Order Specialist, while assigned a primary area of responsibility is part of a regional team that is collectively responsible for the timely resolution of customer request.

• Technical aptitude to learn the basics of SE Electrical Distribution Products ( e.g. panels, breakers, starters, switchboards), with the ability to comfortably work in Schneider Electric product selector and SE Advantage tools
• Positive demeanor with ability to effectively handle conflict internally and externally is a professional manner.
• Required to have the ability to be a team player with excellent communication and demonstrated written and spoken “soft skills”. Demonstrated customer relationship management or related experience
• Flexibility to positively adapt to the ever changing priorities for the immediate team, Schneider Electric and customer.
• Ability to build an environment and relationship of trust and credibility with team and customers. Establish, developing and maintain rapport with key contacts internally and externally via a digital platform.
• Ability to handle multiple projects using problem solving, attention to detail, strong time management, with organizational and prioritization skills
• Ensures prompt, thorough handling and follow up of all customer inquiries thru excellence in written and verbal communications.
