The Career Engagement Specialist will work alongside the Career Coaches and Employer Relations Coordinators to identify relevant employment opportunities and connect students with potential employers. This role is critical in fulfilling MedCerts mission of “A Better Career. Faster” by helping students find employment in their field of study.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with Marketing to develop, write, design and edit content for MedCerts Career Services' social media presence, including light multimedia/video production and blogs.
- Monitor posted jobs in Career Center job board to ensure appropriate and active jobs are available to job seeking students.
- Assist Career Coaches and Compliance in gathering additional student employment data to meet and exceed employment outcomes.
- Oversee and manage the MedCerts Career Center and all admin roles and responsibilities within Career Services.
- Partner with the Employer Relations Coordinator to add employer profiles and job postings to the Career Center.
- Set-up, maintain, and track scheduling of internal and external events such as webinars and Career Coaching live webinars.
- Assist in the updating and maintaining of Affiliation Agreements, COIs and LOIs.
- Other duties as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to manage and adapt to working with individuals of various backgrounds.
- Experience managing a website and/or content.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required. Master’s degree in a related field plus.
- Must be results driven and goaloriented.
- Ability to work independently with a sense of urgency.
- Excellent project management, time and self-management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style.
- Excellent customer service and follow-up skills.
- Background or expertise in supporting teams creating educational media.

WORKING CONDITIONS
This is a remote position in which work will be completed during normal business hours (approximately 8:30am – 5:00pm).
