Corporate Strategist (Remote/Anywhere)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Strategist to join our team to play a key role in developing and implementing Vitala's strategic plans and evaluating opportunities and initiatives across multiple geographies. The ideal candidate will have experience in strategy development, business planning and data-driven business performance management. The Corporate Strategist will report directly to the co-founders.

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a highly analytical role in a cross-functional, fast-paced, data-driven environment
• Strong leadership skills to inspire trust across the organization
• Excellent financial modeling skills
• Familiarity with financial software and tools such as QuickBooks is a plus.
• Asset: Experience working with mission driven organizations (e.g. non-profits or social enterprises)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strategic thinker to drive analysis and change with decision-making capabilities
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite/Shared Google workspace, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

As a Vitala’s Corporate Strategist, you will:

• Creating and implementing a work plan based on the needs of the team, set deliverables to be reviewed with Vitala management/leadership every 2 weeks (sprints)
• Assess progress towards strategic goals including the evaluation of Vitala’s value proposition to its key stakeholders at the mid-term.
• Timely communication with the Vitala Team about any outstanding questions/concerns
• Update and evaluate the company's long-term strategic plans (3-5 years) and ensure alignment with organizational KPIs.
• Work collaboratively with other departments and teams to ensure alignment and consistency in the company's overall strategy and planning.
• Oversee financial reporting processes and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Evaluate strategic initiatives, develop insightful analysis and evidence to support decisions-making
• Ensure the successful delivery of Vitala’s strategy by developing a 3-5 year roadmap
• Lead annual work plan development by integrating the strategic plan with those of enabling functions (e.g. marketing) considering annual budgets
• Provide regular financial analysis and reporting to senior management, highlighting key trends and variances and making recommendations for improvement.
