LinkedIn’s Business Operations team is looking for an Associate who is a strategic thinker, motivated operator, and passionate about digital trust and safety.  This individual will partner with a wide range of cross functional teams from Product, Engineering and Artificial Intelligence to Ops, Policy and Legal to ensure that LinkedIn is a safe and trusted platform for our members and customers.  This is a great role for someone with a passion for the intersection between technology, strategy and policy, and will require an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to roll up their sleeves and work independently to drive impact.

Responsibilities:

• Define goals and key performance metrics for key Trust areas
• Serve as the connective tissue of the cross-functional team, working to share knowledge, frame/ synthesize opportunities and drive people towards a common goal
• Proactively flag risks and recommend course corrections as appropriate
• Serve as the ongoing strategy & operations partner for our cross-functional Trust team, delivering strategic projects for leadership in high priority areas
• Manage Trust operational performance, conduct in-depth analysis, and develop deep understanding of key value drivers to identify improvement areas and opportunities

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years of work experience in a strategy related role with an emphasis on quantitative skills
• BA/BS degree in engineering, math, statistics, physics, computer science, business or relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, strategy or an operational or growth role within a technology company
• Proactive and passionate: You’re independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources, and delivering results in challenging situations
• High-energy, team-first attitude: You’re motivated to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment to help our growing business
• Experience with SQL
• Highly analytical: You’re analytical, with experience decomposing and solving real world business problems, ideally building/using advanced models.
• Concise and effective communications: You’re able to articulately present and debate recommendations with cross-functional teams and senior leadership

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is [$78,000 to $126,000]. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
