FP&A (Financial, Planning, & Analysis) at Netflix is an organization that is highly aligned and deeply entrenched within functional areas throughout the company, partnering with senior leaders in financial planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis. The planned scope for this Associate will be to support all operational activities within the Talent (HR) organization, including forecast submission, consolidation, and reporting. Successful candidates have a commitment toward action, have exceptional partnership and communication skills, and know how to balance getting the details right while still moving fast. The position can be based in Los Angeles or Los Gatos, CA.
Responsibilities

• Coordinating monthly and quarterly Talent reconciliations for forecast vs. actuals
• Building management reporting and other deliverables for the Talent and HR function
• Tracking and maintaining financial and headcount budget movements across all Talent departments
• Supporting scenario modeling analysis to inform internal decision making
• Owning the operational processes related to headcount planning and people cost forecasting for Talent and helping to identify key trends, variance drivers, R&Os, and other meaningful analysis
• Supporting ad hoc reporting and analytical projects

Qualifications

• Proficiency with MS Excel (or equivalent); working knowledge of statistics and analysis packages a plus. Tableau, Anaplan, and Essbase knowledge are a plus
• 2-5 years of finance-related experience – ideally a combination in areas such as HR strategy/analytics, corporate finance, or management consulting
• A successful candidate will have a strong track record of identifying gaps and solutions; performing and coordinating analyses, and communicating findings in a clear and concise way.
• Genuine passion and excitement for Netflix’s unique culture.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and exhibit the highest standards of integrity and ethics
• Experience in accounting concepts and financial planning a plus
• Must be a self-starter, disciplined to work effectively autonomously, while also collaborating with cross-functional teams

The overall market range for roles in this area of Netflix is typically $50,000 - $265,000.
