Job Description

BODYARMOR is looking for a Business Development Analyst to join our team.


The Business Development Analyst is responsible for supporting BASN efforts to build relationships and expand business within Vitamin and Nutrition channels. The Business Development Analyst will also lead BASN efforts to support high schools and local sports teams across the US with BODYARMOR and POWERADE sideline kits and gear.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


VITAMIN & NUTRITION CHANNELS:

  • Develop and leverage top level external relationships at major accounts to optimize BODYARMOR positioning in the market.
  • Drive processes and execution of annual plans across customers. Delivery of key business and financial metrics including topline results (Revenue, volume, Share) and key financial metrics (trade spend and T&E budgets) will be required.
  • Oversee the on-going account updates and performance reporting against key metrics and problem solves plan gaps and brings forward recommendations to deliver on required business objectives.
  • Partner with sales leadership and cross functional team members to build Annual Plans to achieve both short-term and long-term business objectives.
  • Responsible for building relationships, gaining distribution and business management within the Vitamin and Nutrition channels. Support will include building sales presentations, customer communication, attending customer meetings, running trade shows, and building launch plans.
  • Support the development of the vision and strategy to launch BASN within the channel. This will include identifying key customers within the channel, channel and category research, support building go to market AMPS strategy and marketing strategies.


LOCAL SPORTS & HIGH SCHOOL:

  • Build and maintain databases of key contacts (coaches, Athletic Directors) and work with contacts to enroll school or team with BASN.
  • Set contracts with high schools and sport teams to support them with hydration products.
  • Support High Schools and Local sports teams across the US with BODYARMOR and POWERADE hydration products (powders, sports drinks, water) and gear (coolers, squeeze bottles, towels)
  • Build local relationship with high school and sport teams to build BODYARMOR and POWERADE presence on sidelines, locker rooms and schools.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • The ability to effectively intermingle with a wide variety of business and athletic professionals is essential
  • Position requires in-person attendance at bi-annual company retreats/meetings
  • Must be highly self-motivated and organized with a strong desire to produce results with an entrepreneurial spirit to succeed
  • Must hold and maintain a valid driver's license and be able to drive long distances
  • Must be able to quickly assess the needs of the business, develop an action plan & manage the required change
  • Solid computer skills in Outlook, Power Point, Excel, and Word
  • 0-2 Years experience with business development required
  • Ability to utilize and mine syndicated data to translate into fact based story telling required
  • Motor Vehicle Records must satisfy Company standards per Driving Policy
  • Position requires travel (50%) by car and plane
  • Must have a passion for building brands, new products, and long-term growth
  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience required

Salary Range:

$70,000 - $85,000 annually

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
