Business Development Analyst Jobs

Relevante has partnered with a law firm in New York, NY. Our client is looking to add a Business Development Analyst to their New York, NY office. Please read the below description and let us know if you are interested.

Prioritized Must Have Skills For The Business Development Analyst

#1. Must have previous Litigation Restructuring experience with one to two years of BD experience.

#2. Ideal profile would be a Litigation paralegal, who a focus on restructuring who transitioned into the BD space for at least a year.

#3. No more than 3 jobs in the last 10 years.

Responsibilities Of a Business Development Analyst

• Conduct research and analysis on existing and prospective clients to spot opportunities for new business.
• Liaise with the Events Team to plan and execute client events, including seminars and webinars, and assist with external sponsorships.
• Prepare company reports and profiles, including background information, advisory relationships and market intelligence utilizing internal and external data sources.
• Assist with the preparation of compelling pitches and RFP responses.
• Draft legal directory submissions.
• Assist with the development and execution of business development plans that include identifying new business opportunities, targets, and facilitating cross-selling.
• Prepare agendas/materials for practice group meetings and document and communicate action items from the meetings.
• Work with the practice group on their target list, action items and tracking progress. Including tracking progress within our CRM system.
• Work closely with the PR and Marketing Communications Team on profile-raising initiatives, including digital communications and website content.
• Maintain business development records in the firm's Marketing and Business Development technology systems including CRM data, pitch content and matter tracking.

Qualifications Of a Business Development Analyst

• Extraordinary attention to detail.
• Shows initiative and brings new ideas.
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Liberal Arts or related field desired.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• General knowledge of business and financial markets.
• Team player.
• Strong computer skills with various Microsoft programs (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), CRM (MS Dynamics), Foundation and research tools.
• The individual must be able to adapt to change and balance competing demands.
• At least two years of Business Development experience at an international law firm or professional services organization.
• Excellent organization skills.
• Expected to monitor emails outside of normal business hours and be available as needed.

Other Key Requirements

• No sponsorships or visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp.
• Must be willing to go into office 3 days per week
