Our mission: to eliminate every barrier to mental health.
Spring Health is a comprehensive mental health solution for employers and health plans. Unlike any other solution, we use clinically validated technology called Precision Mental Healthcare to pinpoint and deliver exactly what will work for each person — whether that's meditation, coaching, therapy, medication, and beyond.
Today, Spring Health equips over 800 companies, from start-ups to multinational Fortune 500 corporations, as a leading and preferred mental health service. Companies like J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., Microsoft, J.B. Hunt, Bumble, and Instacart use the Spring Health platform to provide mental health services to thousands of their team members globally. We have raised over $370 million from prominent investors including Kinnevik, Tiger Global, Northzone, RRE Ventures, and many more. Thanks to their partnership, our current valuation has reached $2.5 billion.
We are looking for an experienced and intellectually curious data Analyst to join the Provider Business Operations team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in assessing current data and reporting capabilities, triaging needs, and building out a suite of highly useful reports and dashboards to support the Provider Operations team.
We're looking for someone with strong analytical chops combined with a commitment to making data accessible and interesting to business stakeholders. You'll work closely with operational teams to deeply understand Spring Health's provider strategy and operational needs. You'll then take that expertise and collaborate with product, engineering, data science and IT colleagues to build new analytics tools (reports, dashboards, etc.) to support growth and operational priorities. This position will report to the Associate Director, Provider Business Operations.
What you'll be doing:
- Building and maintaining intuitive, and actionable Provider Operations reports, visualizations, and dashboards using Looker, Salesforce and other tools
- Championing data quality initiatives, working closely with data owners and stakeholders to establish standards and practices
- Developing and implementing advanced data analysis methodologies and predictive models to identify patterns and opportunities for enhancing the network - in partnership with POPs and PBO teammates
- Collaborating with Data Science, Business Intelligence, Engineering and Product teams to maintain and improve current data sharing workflows, design new data-driven solutions, and prepare for new product launches
- Participating in strategic planning and decision-making processes, leveraging data insights to contribute to the company growth and impact
- Conducting regular audits of provider data to ensure accuracy and consistency between applications
- Collaborating closely with the Provider Operations team to gather and analyze data, trends, and insights that can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of network management and service delivery
- Providing analytical support for Provider Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success stakeholders for ad-hoc analyses and ongoing performance improvement work
What we expect from you:
- Ability to thrive in a startup environment, being adaptable, proactive, and innovative in finding data-driven solutions for the mental health tech industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with mental health professionals, stakeholders, and present data findings in a sensitive and informative manner
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and technologies (e.g., Excel/Google Sheets primarily - SQL, Python, R, a plus) with the ability to clean, manipulate, analyze, and interpret complex data sets
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or data analyst in a healthcare, logistics, network management or service delivery context
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - ability to quickly understand the scope of a problem, gather requirements, translate that to an action plan, and execute in close partnership with operations stakeholders
- Familiarity with mental health-specific data sources, such as electronic health records (EHRs) and mental health billing and claims data.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI) to create insightful and actionable dashboards and reports tailored to business needs
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and data privacy considerations related to mental health data
The target salary range for this position is $75,000 -95,000, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options, benefits, and incentive pay for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
Don't meet every requirement? Studies have shown that women, communities of color and historically underrepresented talent are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At Spring Health we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you're excited about this role but your past experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we strongly encourage you to apply. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles!
