Retail Business Office Analyst (Hybrid)

Job Purpose:

The Retail Business Office Analyst will assist in providing strategic and operational support to the Global Retail team and to facilitate decision-making and to help meet the function’s business objectives.

This position reports to the Global Retail Design and Construction Head and will be responsible for supporting daily operations and will assist and support the following services:

• Develop senior management presentations and financial reports by aggregating and synthesizing information and providing analytical oversight. These include:
  • Monthly project MOR/dashboard reporting
  • Monthly sub-region cashflow / forecast for financial reporting
  • Lump Sum model reporting
  • Workload projections for consolidation & growth programs
• Support Operational Governance in the development and/or re-engineering of controls based on knowledge of Global Retail D&C processes.
• Monthly project MOR/dashboard reporting
• Support coordination, planning and production of materials for Town Halls, Leadership Offsites, and special events.
• Support and manage cost saving initiatives that allow the firm to meet annual budgetary and business goals
• Take on high level requests with sufficient depth and breadth in order to translate into specific analysis and project deliverables, often within tight timelines
• Work with the leadership team to assist in developing business requirements, documenting procedures and processes.
• Apply a broad understanding of business, financial controls, operational functions and technology to respond to inquiries of different and relevant stakeholders
• Manage all global Retail D&C related org chart and report on changes/movement.
• Monthly sub-region cashflow / forecast for financial reporting
• Provide research support for strategic retail projects and initiatives.
• Lump Sum model reporting
• Workload projections for consolidation & growth programs
• Partner with Global Retail Heads to drive numerous data-integrity projects aimed at improving data quality and eliminating un-aligned / duplicative reporting.
• Support the development of an overall communication strategy across multiple platforms including Collaborate, SharePoint, and Newsletters to update staff on major initiatives, staff programs, and other important Global Retail D&C news.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business.

• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving capabilities.
• An ability to influence others without formal authority and obtain support across organizational boundaries.
• Flexible and adaptable, able to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in a corporate setting; Corporate Real Estate and/or Financial Services experience a plus.
• Strong writing and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate messages to a wide audience.
• Critical thinker with an understanding of process and relationships.
• An independent self-starter who works well in ambiguous situations and demonstrates integrity with minimal supervision.
• Effectiveness at working across various levels.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, and organizational skills.
• A "team player" orientation able to work collaboratively with others, with good conflict resolution skills.
• Experience in a large, multi-national corporation or an entity with similar global reach and complexity a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, relationship building, and listening skills.
• Solid technology orientation with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced knowledge in PowerPoint and Excel recommended. Proficiency in using and creating SharePoint sites a plus.
