e.l.f. Cosmetics is looking for a driven, analytical and collaborate Assistant Manager, Global Digital eCommerce to join our Digital team. This role is based in our New York City office and reports to our Sr. Manager, Global Digital eCommerce.
The eCommerce Assistant Manager is responsible for developing a best-in-class eCommerce shopping experience and executing the merchandising strategy across elfcosemtics.com sites globally in alignment with overall business objectives. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for owning a wide variety of ecommerce functions including executing merchandising strategies, owning new product launches, and analyzing key site metrics to identify areas of opportunity that will drive performance. S/he will report and communicate web analytics reports and dashboards on a monthly/weekly/daily basis to report on sales and merchandising effectiveness and track web KPIs such as category conversion, bounce rate, AOV, abandon cart, etc., and action on findings to improve metrics.
The ideal candidate brings 3 to 4 years of experience in eCommerce merchandising, preferably on a mobile site as well as 3 to 4 years of experience and expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud. We need someone who has knowledge of website content management systems and mobile best practices as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to develop actionable conclusions from analytics and execute proposed improvements in a timely manner is also critical. You will need the ability to work collaboratively across functional groups, be self-motivated, flexible, and able to complete large volumes of work independently. Detail Responsibilities and Requirements
Responsibilities
- Owns, creates and executes promotion set up
- Interact with CRM, marketing and creative services to execute e-Commerce promotions and marketing ventures.
- Work with search vendor to optimize search performance on-site
- Track web KPIs such as category conversion, bounce rate, AOV, abandon cart, etc., and action on findings to improve metrics.
- Collaborate with personalization tools to drive sales and conversion
- Execute new product page creation, including product information, copy and photo asset requests with the creative team and other X-functional teams
- Conduct daily site maintenance based on selling and web analytics, including category page ranking and product page improvements.
- Work on assortment strategy, unit forecasting
- Owns inventory status with the operations team
- Pro-actively monitor industry trends in the digital space and cosmetics industry
- Analyze key site metrics to identify areas of opportunity that will drive site performance to achieve plan metrics.
- Own the execution of site merchandising on e.l.f. Cosmetics websites globally
- Report and communicate web analytics reports and dashboards (monthly/weekly/daily) to report on sales and merchandising effectiveness
Requirements
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functional groups.
- 3-4 years of experience in eCommerce merchandising, preferably on a mobile site and application
- Ability to develop actionable conclusions from analytics and execute proposed improvements in a timely manner
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Self-motivated, flexible, and able to complete large volumes of work independently
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook and a basic understanding of HTML and Google Analytics
- 3-4 years of experience and expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud
- Knowledge of website content management systems, and mobile best practices
