Job Summary:


The Ecommerce Digital Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining consistent product data across Direct-to-Consumer and retailer websites. The ideal candidate will also liaise between customer service and e-commerce teams, assist with technical issues, and contribute to customer support site documentation. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring a smooth e-commerce operation and enhancing customer experience.


The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of Shopify Plus, HTML and CSS, as well as possess excellent organizational skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. You will report to and work closely with the Director of Ecommerce.


Key Responsibilities


Visual Content Coordination:

  • Audit existing product detail pages for consistent imagery and submit requests for new imagery where needed
  • Collaborate with graphic design team to traffic product photography and video to maintain consistent imagery across Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) and retailer websites
  • Own product asset management and organization in Dropbox
  • Ensure assets are properly optimized for site speed, SEO and mobile-first design best practices
  • Coordinate and traffic content for blog posts, including text, images, and multimedia elements


Product Data Management:

  • Manage product collections, ensuring they align with marketing campaigns and customer preferences
  • Maintain tagging schema in Shopify for collection management
  • Monitor and manage virtual bundles for phase out products, notifying the team for reconfiguration or removal
  • Monitor and manage product data flow from Shopify to additional sales channels, including Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, and Google Merchant Center
  • Collaborate with sales team to maintain current list of retail locations for store locator
  • Update product metaobjects and metafields in Shopify, for enhanced educational product content and collection page filter facets, as well as cross-selling and upselling opportunities
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to keep product SKUs up to date and ensure the accuracy of product information in Shopify online store
  • Set up and maintain product catalog data in Shopify and retailer channels
  • Optimize onsite search settings to improve user experience and product discoverability


Web Promotions:

  • Use the Shopify theme editor to manage banner assets and coordinate the scheduling and execution of theme updates in collaboration with relevant teams
  • Collaborate with marketing and design teams to brief out creative requests for promotional banners, clearly communicating design requirements and ensuring alignment with brand guidelines
  • Collaborate with team members to understand upcoming campaigns and initiatives
  • Use Shopify Launchpad to schedule theme switches and promotions


Shopify Monitoring:

  • Regularly monitor Shopify alerts for gift card or discount code abuse
  • Monitor Shopify notifications and alert the appropriate teams for necessary actions – including chargebacks, expiring payments, and fraud alerts
  • Maintain and update a spreadsheet of discount codes across social media, customer service, and affiliate platforms
  • Monitor store inventory, conducting stock checks and ensuring that stock is live on the site as expected
  • Generate and manage discount codes and gift cards for internal teams


Liaison between Customer Service and E-commerce:

  • Work closely with customer service and assist representatives with any product-related queries
  • Collaborate with the ecommerce and customer service team to create tutorials, support documentation, and FAQs for our customer support site
  • Assist customer service representatives with resolving account activation, password reset, subscription, returns, and other technical issues
  • Collaborate with customer service to identify pain points which may inform UX/UI improvements to onsite standards and customer journey


Requirements


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Knowledge of Trello and or other productivity apps
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field

  • Proficiency in Shopify Plus, preferred 2-3 years experience
  • Knowledge of HTML, Javascript and CSS
  • Experience with customer service and technical issue resolution is a plus
  • Proactive and self-starter
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies
