Job Description

Remote: This position does not require employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively. The employee’s role enables them to work off-site on a permanent basis.
Join the National Accounts team at GM Customer Care & Aftersales as the Assistant Account Manager of Sales Operations to the world’s largest e-tailer, Amazon.com.
The Assistant Account Manager of Amazon Sales Operations will oversee all aspects of the end-to-end order fulfillment process to create an exceptional customer experience while increasing sales revenue of GM Genuine Parts and ACDelco parts. We are looking for someone to join our team that is customer-focused, has a passion for ecommerce and working cross functionally, and can thrive in a fast-paced ever-changing environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the knowledge leader for the Ship Direct Process
  • Collaborate with logistics and Amazon In-Stock Teams to resolve shipment and delivery related issues
  • Provide forecasts and Market Intelligence for Amazon sales and promotional events and coordinate with Amazon on product availability
  • Collaborate with EDI and IT teams to ensure compliance with customer requirements
  • Participate in weekly calls with Amazon Vendor Management team
  • Participate in Operational Excellence projects as the subject matter expert of Amazon operations
  • Oversee operational performance metrics and collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure compliance
  • Develop and execute order management processes, procedures, and reference materials
  • Resolve invoice related issues and collaborate with finance when necessary
  • Develop and execute strategies to reduce order cancellations, manage backorders, and reconcile past due orders
  • Manage parts sales eligibility for various Amazon order types including weekly replenishment orders, pallet program orders, and direct fulfillment orders
Skills/Qualifications:
  • Prior Amazon experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of EDI Transactions codes preferred
  • Willingness to provide strategic perspective
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • ECommerce Sales Operations experience preferred
  • Experience with Order Management Procedures, Systems, and processes strongly preferred
  • Customer focused
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
  • Strong communications skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Strong collaborations skills and ability to work cross functionally
  • Ability to train others on systems and processes

The expected base compensation for this role is $65,646 - $96,880. Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
