Job Summary:
This role supports Verisys by playing a critical role in building and maintaining relationships with Verisys clients and partners, while serving as a player-coach for other Account Managers within a specified market. Our ideal candidate will have experience building and expanding business partnerships, have a depth of understanding inside of the healthcare market where they manage accounts, and be able to identify new opportunities for growth where our products and services could add value to an existing relationship, while supporting their market team members in leveraging best practices in partnership expansions and relationship building. As a Senior Strategic Account Manager-Market Lead, you will represent our company and interact with key clients and partners, as well as support the other market account managers in their own professional growth. You will be accountable for managing the client relationships assigned to you, as well as any team members reporting to you within your market, in a manner that represents the brand and reputation for excellence maintained by Verisys today.
We are looking for someone with specific Health plan knowledge! Managed care organizations or health plan provider relations experience! Not a strong sales background!

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Leverage internal teams and processes to provide timely, accurate and comprehensive
- I Customer Relationship Management
responses to customer inquiry and resolution to customer issues or concerns
- Act as a subject matter expert for the business for your assigned market, providing
- Identify areas for revenue growth and/or expansion of strategic relationships
- Complete quarterly or annual strategic business reviews
customer and partner feedback to the product, operations, and other business teams
- Manage the contract renewal process for assigned accounts
- Manage strategic client growth to ensure best practices and best product fit for key
- Manage customer enhancement and contract expansion requests
clients within assigned market
- Identify opportunities for growth within assigned clients and market and feed this
- Manage client forecast and growth expectations with the business teams
information through the appropriate sales and contracting channels
- Identify areas for product improvement for assigned customers/market and feed this
information through the appropriate product feedback channels
- Meet all client contract SLA expectations response times and accuracy in information
provided, as well as provide SLA reporting, where needed for strategic clients and
management of these accounts
- Become an expert on the use cases, regulatory and standard-setting organization
compliance requirements, and industry trends for the assigned clients and market
- Assist in the Sales and Implementation processes and work closely with these teams to
create seamless transitions, consistent expectations and exceptional client experience at
all points of the customer relationship
Market leadership:
- Complete one-on-ones with your team members no less than monthly
- Approve time off requests for any direct reports
- Serve as a player-coach to account managers assigned to you within your market
- Support your team in completing contract renewals and expansions, as needed
- Provide guidance to your team members on best practices in both managing
relationships, as well as working with other teams and leaders to advocate effectively
for your clients and partners
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication
- Possess a strong work ethic and team player mentality
- Flexible and approachable
Education/Experience:
Required:
- Experience supporting contracting processes (renewals, addendums, amendments)
- High school diploma
- 5 years account management experience
- Type Speed 30 WPM
- Experience managing clients at both the business owner and executive levels
Preferred:
- Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in related field
- SalesForce experience
- Google Suite expertise (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive)
- Health care industry experience specific to the assigned market
