The Opportunity
Premier Group are currently recruiting an accomplished and creative Strategic Account Manager on behalf of our client, a leading, publicly traded, leader in digital reality and autonomous solutions to multiple industries.
The organization is expanding and an exponential rate and their global footprint and enormous portfolio of advanced industrial sensors, measurement technologies, factory automation, simulation, and analytics tools are best in class.
The successful applicant will be manage and grow existing strategic accounts which primarily include Tier-One Aerospace OEMs. You will coordinate with technical engineering resources, and play a pivotal role in developing and executing a comprehensive strategic account plan for this growing market.
Responsibilities will include:
The Strategic Account Manager will be in a pivotal role, and will shape a comprehensive strategic plan on how the business manage and grow existing Aerospace Accounts.
Working in a fully-remote role, you will perform complete sales cycle activities from identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities to contract negotiation, delivery and ongoing support, promoting a range of Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) software.
- Develop and manage annual account strategy plan including long-term objectives and tactical action items.
- Ability to orchestrate company resources in a team selling environment.
- Manage existing key customer accounts within the Federal Department of Defense sector while also identifying new business and growth opportunities.
- Act as the voice of the customer; ensure customer needs are addressed and highlighted internally as required.
- Provide feedback to internal company organizations to improve solution offering.
- Maintain up to date and accurate forecasts.
- Use Winning Complex Sales methodologies to develop new opportunities.
- Influence senior decision-makers on large impact issues; unify and motivate groups to move in the right direction; establish clear leadership presence.
- Leverage strong personal presentation skills and a variety of effective sale tools.
- Research and provide relevant presentation to prospects and customers, include ROI and value added of CAE software differentiating features.
- Attain personal quarterly and yearly quotas.
- Achieve and exceed assigned quotas and KPI targets - on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
About You:
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Demonstrated record of successful sales experience promoting CAE software in either the manufacturing or technology sector.
- Ability to build trust and impactful relationships with both external and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work on issues independently and with team members in a proactive fashion.
- Excellent planning, time management, communication, decision-making, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to navigate and network with decision-making units, in mid-size and large accounts.
- Ability to orchestrate company resources in a team selling environment.
- Open to frequent domestic travel (up to 30%).
- Proven track record of quota achievement and expansion with new business areas.
- Experience in managing large pipeline to achieve quarterly and annual targets.
- Abilty to act as the voice of the customer; ensure customer needs are addressed and highlighted internally as required.
- Results oriented: who takes pride in delivering sustained results, tenacious competitor.
- Ability to accurately forecast and document all aspects of the sales process into a CRM system.
Bonus Points:
- Experience selling technical solutions to the Aerospace market is desirable, but not essential.
