Asset Manager - New York – Energy - ESG Fund Manager:

Exceptional opportunity for an experienced Asset Manager to join our client, a leading global ESG Fund Manager based in New York City. With their AUM continuing to grow impressively and a strong footprint of Sustainable Energy Investments nationwide they are keen to add an experienced Asset Manager to their business as they grow to the next level.

A strong Energy Background across the Asset Management landscape is highly desired.

The role duties in brief:

• As assigned, be the primary assigned asset manager responsible for one or more individual funds
• Development and review monthly, quarterly, and annual reports regarding operational and financial reports from the fund businesses as well as status and progress on ESG objectives and metrics.
• Building and supporting positive key stakeholder relationships, including the attendance and contribution in contractual meetings and other forms of general contact as well as add to all other ad hoc and entrepreneurial projects.
• Support the investment process for each of the managed funds by providing analysis of prospect opportunities, reviewing project documentation, performing site visits to support bids and acquisitions, developing due diligence reports, and reporting findings, and making recommendations regarding alignment with the target fund’s financial, operational, and growth objectives.
• Research operational and financial performance of the assets, including identification of risk areas as well as value initiatives.
• Ensure good governance and that the fund businesses comply with applicable statutory, contractual, and corporate regulations and policies.
• Explain the key risks and opportunities on a quantitative and qualitative basis - Support development and periodic presentation of findings to the
• Conduct asset-specific and portfolio-wide analysis, taking a proactive and entrepreneurial approach to find and explain value initiatives across the portfolio, and then to drive the implementation of these initiatives to an agreed plan.

The successful candidate will be tertiary qualified to a Masters Level and have gained at least 7 years’ experience within a Asset Management environment and have a keen interest in the ESG and or Sustainability market.

Working with an active Fund Manager of this nature will allow you the autonomy to make the role your own and drive your career forward as well as add considerable value to the Fund and Businesses that the Fund Investment in and or own. Your ability to liaise and work directly with CEO's and MD's of their Portfolio Businesses will be key.
