About The Role
This full-time position will be based in New York and is part of the Global Energy & Sustainability team. The role offers a unique opportunity for a capable individual to help support the delivery of Energy and Sustainability objectives across the USC region that supports the wider WeWork Global ambition.
Responsibilities Include

• Work with both external parties and internal stakeholders to provide accurate and timely energy financial information such as budgets, forecasts and accruals.
• Develop and manage programs to record accurate & timely energy data and support the team and wider business in reporting and analytical tasks.
• Support the Global Energy & Sustainability Director in deploying energy and resource efficiency programs and reporting the associated costs savings.
• Support Invoice management and consumption data requests, working closely with our external energy broker.
• Engage with Landlords to obtain utility and contract data - Building Energy Management System (BEMS) related information and energy reduction efforts.
• To support procurement, management, measurement and monitoring of utilities and other resources across USC.
• Project manage ROI initiatives to reduce energy and resource consumption and cost.
• Conduct energy audits (remote and in person) and identify areas of opportunity. Build business cases for investment where appropriate.
• Work closely with the technical services, facilities and business operational teams, finance etc… as required.
• Liaise with the global energy & sustainability team to ensure our valued members receive and understand their utility data.
• Produce regular consumption reports including profile analysis, exception reporting and benchmarking across the region, utilizing energy management systems.
• Attend buildings as required to gather information related to energy, HVAC, BEMS, etc and working closely with the Technical services BEMS team to analyze and report on utility consumption and data.

Requirements

• Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
• Excellent organization, communication, writing and presentation skills: experience working across multiple levels, functions and regions
• 5 plus years experience in energy management with the appropriate qualifications.
• Team player - this is a flat and lean team, we’re looking for a willingness to jump in as needed on projects outside your scope.
• Highly analytical, fluency using spreadsheet and databases
• Experience working in fast paced global companies, and working cross functionally
• Passionate about making a difference in the world
• Willing/able to travel to both existing and new locations.

Compensation & Benefits
Base Pay: $86,300 - 115,000
Incentive Compensation: WeWork employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan specific to their role. Your recruiter will detail what incentive plan is applicable to this specific role. WeWork incentive plans are subject to the terms of the applicable incentive compensation plan, which will be made available to you after commencing employment. WeWork reserves the right to amend its incentive plans, and nothing in this job requisition or any other document creates a right to a specific incentive plan payment.
Benefits: Full-time employees are eligible for comprehensive benefits (subject to the terms of applicable plans/policies/agreements, which will be made available to you after commencing employment), including 20 days of PTO, approximately 10 paid holidays, 80 hours of paid sick leave, 16 weeks paid parental leave, competitive healthcare benefits, 401K plan, Life & AD&D insurance.
