The Company

A pioneering renewable energy company with an <20GW global pipeline split between Solar, Wind, BESS, Hydrogen, and Hybrid projects.

Their historical growth is abnormal and subsequent project growth, facilitated by a multi-billion-dollar PE firm backing them, they are looking for somebody to play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic growth of their portfolio, through leading acquisitions whilst managing and building the investment team.


The Role

  • Presenting investment opportunities and providing strategic guidance and recommendations to executive management.
  • Develop and execute the investment strategy on a global level.
  • Identify and screen investment opportunities through financial analysis, due diligence, risk management etc.
  • Portfolio integration of acquired assets.
  • Developing, growing, and leading the investment team.
  • Leading project & portfolio acquisitions end-to-end globally.
  • Leading complex negotiations, structuring and execution of transactions.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships including their global partners.
  • Reporting into the CEO.


The Person

  • High analytical-conceptual thinking ability with strong experiences in buy-side M&A, negotiations, presentations, risk management, and stakeholder management.
  • Speak English fluently, other languages welcome i.e., Spanish.
  • Ability to effectively mentor, lead, and motivate term members.
  • Hands-on and highly ambitious / entrepreneurial attitude, hungry for growth and constantly striving for excellence.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration or other related.
  • 5+ years’ direct work experience in M&A, investment banking, private equity (within renewable energy is highly advantageous).
