Chartwell Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Sales and Operational Leader to join their team as an Area Vice President! The ideal candidate for this role would be someone that not only has extensive leadership experience in the staffing industry, but is truly passionate about training and developing both the Sales and Operational teams, while simultaneously strengthening client relations.
The Area Vice President reports directly to Chartwell's Chief Operating Officer. The Area Vice President will provide for the coordination and management of several assigned branch offices. This will include having sales and marketing responsibility for each location, as well as responsibility for ensuring their profitability, and aggressively growing those branches through increased sales, and, new office development.

What you will be doing:
- Ensures that all Branch Leaders, along with Staffing and Business Development Managers are meeting production / performance standards.
- Plans and directs hiring, training and developments of all staff in the assigned offices.
- May participate in RFP presentations, attend sales meetings in immediate territory, and develop and maintain relationships with top 5 largest clients within territory.
- Ensures that the office staff in each individual office is trained on the Chartwell Staffing Solutions training materials and operating system.
- Ensures that all federal, state and local regulations as well as company's policies and processes are being followed.
- Manages the staff, human capital aspects of employees connected with each of the branch operations, including maximizing retention of qualified team members.
- Increases overall gross margin profit of each office.
- Ensures one client doesn't represent more than 25% of one branches office revenue.
- Provides sales and marketing leadership to assist assigned branch locations. Maximize profits and increase overall revenue.
- Full P&L Responsibility for assigned region. Reviews operating results, compare them to established budgets and forecasts, and take steps to ensure appropriate measures are taken to correct unsatisfactory results.
- In conjunction with Branch Leaders, builds and executes a sales plan focusing on acquiring a diverse client base and a stable base of business for each branch.
- Conducts performance evaluations, administers promotions and compensation / salary reviews for direct report employees.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- Proven track record of managing and supporting sales teams
- Proven track record of managing and supporting multiple branch offices
Highly Desired Knowledge and Abilities
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- 8+ years of staffing operations and sales on a regional scale
- Prior experience in P&L Management / bottom line responsibility

- Comfortable in an open system, team-oriented culture while interacting with senior management and other professional and support staff
- Ability to perform physical aspects of those in a standard office environment
- Active, task-oriented personality and proven leadership skills
