The Vice President of Finance directs and manages the financial strategy and operations for the organization, specifically within the hotel industry. Candidates must have a background in hotel finance, as only those with relevant hotel experience will be considered for this opportunity.

Responsibilities include:
Required Skills And Experience
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and internal controls, with a focus on applications within the hotel field
- CPA required
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience specifically within the hotel industry
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting

Responsibilities include:
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with financial institutions to secure optimal banking services and financing arrangements specific to the needs of the hotel sector
- Crafting, executing, and revising detailed annual budgets in collaboration with hotel department heads, reflecting the organization's short-term objectives and long-term vision within the industry
- Collaborating with executive management to set financial targets aligned with the organization's strategic goals, reflecting a deep understanding of the hotel industry
- Leading a dynamic accounting team in their daily operations and professional growth within both hotel and corporate accounting spheres
- Implementing proactive cash management strategies within the hotel context to optimize liquidity and support organizational needs
Required Skills And Experience
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products to include, but not limited to Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment where priorities are consistently changing
- Experience in the hospitality field is preferred but not required
- High level of flexibility regarding hours worked during month-end and busy periods as required by the business
- Ability to evaluate, analyze, and prioritize data in various forms and formats
- Self-Starter with the ability to work independently and as a team
- M3 accounting experience preferred but not required
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, modified cash basis, and cash basis accounting
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and internal controls is required
- CPA required
