Job Description
Summary


The Center for Preparedness and Response seeks candidates to immediately begin work to respond to current public health needs. The successful candidate will perform important administrative duties including, but not limited to, personnel reporting, expenditure tracking and coordinating; performing quality control checks on grant administration; and monitoring personnel activity to assist with ELC quality control; and record keeping. Maintaining an organized, neat, and clean work environment, working well in a team environment, and being organized and detail-oriented are essential.

The hourly range for this position is $19.00 per hour to $25.00 per hour depending on experience/qualifications.

Essential Functions


  • Keep organized files, including tracking via excel spreadsheets and/or Microsoft Lists
  • Use Microsoft suite programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access Databases when needed
  • Receive information from CDPH centers, divisions, and offices on changes in personnel
  • Organize and maintain data repositories for CDPH ELC grant management
  • Assist with billing and/or invoicing for CDPH personnel costs
  • Review labor reports from the CDPH accounting system
  • Review expenditure reports and identify needs for expenditure corrections for labor charges
  • Evaluate discrepancies between labor reports, internal tracking sheets, and billing information for ELC
  • Other duties as necessary in the office when deemed necessary
  • Serve as a lead for coordinating ELC personnel tracking

  • Ability to learn and apply concepts to the job at hand
  • Familiarity with:


Education/Experience


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, public health administration, or public administration is preferred, but not required.
