POREX is looking for an Account Manager based in Atlanta, GA area or Remote. Under the general supervision of the Manager of Account Management, this position will be responsible for managing a selective number of large complex global accounts with key customers. The position will be responsible for the strategy development to stabilize, grow and strengthen customer relationships and manage these assigned key accounts in their day-to-day business needs in close collaboration with internal stakeholders in Operation, Finance, Strategic Marketing, Business Development and R&D. The position will focus on maintaining existing business with some of our largest customers, develop strategies to defend our supply position, grow business share against competition and develop relationships with key customer stakeholders to ensure continued future business growth.
Responsibilities
- Know product and services to be able to upsell and/or cross sell. Understand customer suppliers and market trends.
- Main point of contact in all matters related to the customer. Coordinates support groups to ensure a high level of customer support.
- Work with internal sales, marketing, and operations team on plans to deliver to customers and define KPIs.
- Confirm customer orders and that the customer continues to purchase from us.
- Discover and report significant market and customer trends (including competitive activity) as a means toward supporting marketing efforts to leverage intelligence to achieve growth objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of customers documents (i.e. contracts, renewals, NDA compliance etc.)
- Manage customers’ expectations, identify decision makers, build relationships, and be the primary advocate for customer business needs and requirements.

Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
Experience
- Influence well at all levels of the organization and around key tasks and priorities.
- Possess excellent verbal (including presentation), analytical and written skills.
- Plan, prepare, anticipate needs before going into a meeting with a customer.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing industry
- Relationship Building – at all levels with high empathy to determine what the critical needs of each individual customer.
- Be highly responsive to customer needs and perceptive to new business opportunities within existing accounts.
- 5+ years of Account Management/Customer Service Experience
- Must be able to speak the technical language of our customers and have high attention to detail.
- Possess strong initiative, ability to prioritize, set personal goals and work autonomously.
- Contract Negotiations experience preferred.
- Adept at using technology for effective management of responsibility: Internet, Microsoft Office Suite, ERP/CRM databases, etc.
