As a Business Analyst, you’ll contribute to the success of a SharePoint project, with the goal to make an impact across the federal government. You will play a crucial role in our SharePoint development project, working closely with stakeholders, technical teams, and end-users to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate them into effective SharePoint solutions.

What you’ll do:

• Perform quality assurance activities to ensure that the SharePoint solution meets the defined requirements, user expectations, and industry best practices.
• Leverage your expertise in SharePoint technologies, business analysis, and project/product management to drive the successful delivery of the project, ensuring it meets the business objectives and user expectations.
• Create and deliver clear and concise project documentation, including functional specifications, user manuals, training materials, and reports.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders, including business users, project managers, developers, and subject matter experts, to identify and document project requirements, scope, and objectives for the SharePoint implementation.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings to elicit business requirements, analyze user needs, and define project objectives.
• Collaborate with the technical team to provide guidance and clarify requirements during the development and implementation phases.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, wireframes, and other documentation to guide the development and implementation of SharePoint solutions.
• Own and groom the Product Backlog for SharePoint applications and to reflect priorities.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• In-depth understanding of SharePoint technologies, including SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server, SharePoint Designer, and SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex business processes and translate them into practical solutions.
• Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques, along with experience in conducting stakeholder interviews, facilitating workshops, and leading requirements-gathering sessions.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on SharePoint projects, including requirements gathering, process analysis, and solution design as a member of an Agile development team.
• Experience as a Product Owner, developing product strategies, roadmaps, and owning the Product Backlog.
• Proficiency in creating project documentation, such as functional specifications, user stories, wireframes, and process flows.
