About the Job:

HirePlace, LLC is currently searching for a Business Analyst in the Greater Nashville area. Our client, an insurance provider, needs a true Business Analyst with 3+ experience writing business requirements. The Business Analyst will be apart of critical company initiatives as they migrate legacy applications into the digital space.

Work Responsibilities:

• Develop and iterate on full-scale mockups, wireframes, visuals, and prototypes.
• Identify impact to other solutions, applications, or projects and work with stakeholders to recommend options.
• Document user, functional, non-functional, and technical requirements including developing current and future state maps and workflows.
• Identify, create, and facilitate complex process design changes.
• Create user requirements specifications, business requirements documents, software requirement specifications, solution specifications, future state proposals and/or use case diagrams, user stories, and understand project management methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, SDLC / Waterfall).
• Execute test scripts documenting actual results.
• Develop process improvements for current or potential business processes and review existing applications to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Continue professional development in order to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods and best practices.

Work Experience:

• Experience in software migrations and updating legacies programs/systems.
• Must be able to learn, understand and apply new technologies..
• Experience working both independently and, in a team oriented, collaborative environment.
• Build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to solve problems, and achieve company derived objectives.
• Strong experience in demonstrated communication skills, both written and oral to both technical/non-technical staff.
• 3+ years' work experience as a Business Analyst.
• Experience influencing and gaining buy-in from executives sponsors and stakeholders and consulting with peers and team members.
