The Vice President, Provider Enablement is responsible for the national strategy and operations of key development areas that improve growth and value-based care performance at Privia. The VP works with New Markets, Existing Markets, and National teams to develop programs to help us succeed in existing and new value-based programs including Medicare Advantage, Medicare Shared Savings, Commercial, and other value-based programs. They are responsible for developing new areas of opportunity, including, but not limited to Clinical Programs, Value-Based Care Technology, Advocacy, and Privia Care Partners.
Essential Job Duties
  • Lead development of capabilities to support Privia Care Partners, Privia’s ACO/IPA product
  • Collaborate with technology, patient engagement, and provider engagement teams to impact patients and providers at scale across a large group
  • Responsibility for strategy and operations of Clinical Programs, Provider Enablement, Advocacy, and Privia Care Partners
  • Collaborate with healthcare economics and analytics teams to improve reporting and identify opportunities for new programs
  • Follow key healthcare news and regulatory changes, engaging with advocacy groups on necessary areas of feedback
  • Communicate ongoing with the executive team, physician community and related employees regarding applicable strategies and initiatives
  • Develop new products and programs to improve performance and growth of value-based care, including developing partnerships with outside organizations and vendors
  • Lead new market development and partner with operations team to implement - stand up new teams, budget, physician governance, and other population health strategies
  • Collaborate with physician leadership to develop new Clinical Programs and improve Value-Based Care Technology
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced, tech-enabled and consensus-building environment with the ability to work with a variety of key constituents
  • Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and complexity, able to move forward despite unclear direction, and decisive and confident in their leadership
  • Ability to work closely with providers to collaborate on initiatives and influence decisions
  • Analytical, quantitative, and financially focused
  • Excellent communication skills and can express complex ideas clearly and effectively to a varied audience of physicians, care center staff, and Privia employees
  • A broad understanding of healthcare reimbursement methodologies
  • Strategic and able to see the big picture, as well as develop new programs from the ground up
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in health plans, health systems, and/or provider organizations with value/risk-based contracting/performance
  • Strong strategist able to develop new programs and ideas from concept to reality, as well as understand how to architect valuable deals with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience in new product development related to clinical programs, care management, and provider enablement
  • Understands the connected nature of value-based care across payers, providers, practices, operations, technology and analytics
  • Phenomenal relationship and business acumen
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. Healthcare Master’s or MBA highly preferred.
