Job Description

Genesis Technologies is a leading technology solutions provider, specializing in IT Industry. We are seeking an exceptional and results-driven professional to join our executive team as the Vice President of Sales and Business Development. This senior-level position will play a pivotal role in driving immediate results, revenue growth, and market expansion for our company.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and business development strategy to achieve aggressive revenue targets and drive sustainable business growth.
  2. Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the sales and business development teams, setting clear objectives, and motivating the teams to achieve exceptional results.
  3. Identify new business opportunities, evaluate potential markets, and develop effective go-to-market strategies to penetrate those markets.
  4. Establish and nurture relationships with key clients, strategic partners, and industry influencers to drive business partnerships, alliances, and customer acquisition.
  5. Lead the sales forecasting and budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives and financial targets.
  6. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify emerging opportunities, market shifts, and potential risks.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment of sales strategies with company initiatives and objectives.
  8. Provide regular reports to the executive team on sales performance, market insights, and progress toward goals.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry advancements, technological innovations, and best practices in sales and business development.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes, tools, and methodologies to optimize sales efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is highly desirable.
  2. Proven track record of at least 10 years in executive-level sales and business development roles, driving significant revenue growth and market expansion.
  3. Extensive experience in leading and managing high-performing sales teams, with a focus on achieving ambitious targets.
  4. Strong industry knowledge and understanding of the IT Industry, including market dynamics, trends, and competitive landscape.
  5. Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective sales and business development strategies that deliver immediate and sustainable results.
  6. Proven ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, establish strategic partnerships, and negotiate complex agreements.
  7. Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, foster a culture of high performance, and drive collaboration.
  8. Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  9. Strategic mindset, business acumen, and strong analytical skills to identify market gaps, optimize sales processes, and make data-driven decisions.
  10. Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapt to changing market conditions, and lead teams through organizational growth.
