Location: The position is remote with extensive travel (as needed).
Compensation: The base salary for this position starts at $250k, additional bonus and compensation.
Qualifications:
● At least 10 years’ experience within project development leadership for renewables projects
● Experience across all stages of the development
● Utility Scale solar and/or wind experience; comfort with a mandate for multiple asset classes (DG/community solar, paired storage, utility scale solar and wind)
● Demonstrated success leading teams and developing individuals for promotion – would be leading a team of 20.
● Strong commercial and financial aptitude, skilled in running team P&L as well as project schedules, budgets, resource plans, pipeline reporting etc.
● Skilled in evaluating and proposing market strategy – knowing what regions to target and with what technologies.
● Confident personality that will be comfortable merging and integrating with a tight-knit executive team.
● Someone who is highly accountable and able to trouble-shoot project impediments, handle issues and put out fires themselves.
● Comfortable with extensive travel
● Exposure to selling projects and supporting commercial teams.
● Worked for a large IPP or energy corporation.
● Management of multi-layered teams
● MBA qualification or other demonstration of analytical, presentation and communication skills
● Strong network of consultants, OEMs, M&A candidate firms
● Exposure to other technologies
