Job Description

We are retained with a fast-growing client in the healthcare space looking to bring on an experienced Healthcare IT Leader in the South Bay California area!


They will provide relocation and are offering an extensive compensation package.


This role will be onsite Monday-Friday and will be focused on these 3 top skill-sets:

  1. Cyber security
  2. HIPAA compliance
  3. Infrastructure and Networking


Responsibilities:

  • Research and implement technology to support security, dynamic operational improvements and cost savings through efficiencies and automation.
  • Oversee and ensure that all IT organizational policy and procedures are compliant with organizational and statutory requirements. Implements enterprise-wide system architecture and design to ensure systems integrate well and can be shared easily among authorized users.
  • Lead the development and implementation for new hardware and software platforms.
  • Collaborate with leadership to improve the cyber security profile of the company, migrate financial management systems and support the evaluation, and subsequent planning and implementation of CRM and EMR platforms.
  • Responsible for managing the planning, implementation and risk management related to IT applications (back-end), IT infrastructure, enterprise architecture, technology operations
  • Safeguard all corporate IT assets to ensure they are secure and work to implement a Disaster Recovery capability within the company for mission critical applications.


Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 6 years progressive IT leadership experience with successful career progression.
  • Experience with the selection, implementation, and maturation of EMR and CRM systems or comparable business applications.
  • HIPAA compliance a must. Any PCI compliance is a plus.
  • Experience in selection and implementation of desktop and network security and infrastructure.
  • Experience managing and securing a Cloud environment.
  • Healthcare background is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following academic fields: Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Systems.
