Position Overview
As the Talent Acquisition Associate, you will source and interview candidates to grow Computacenter’s team in the United States and Canada. You will work closely with various hiring managers to identify and screen candidates.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Provide updates to candidates throughout the recruiting to onboarding process.
- Verify post-employment obligations of candidates and ensure direction and/or required language directed by Legal is included in documentation.
- Partners with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values.
- Collect interviewer and candidate feedback
- Embrace and support Computacenter’s mission and core values.
- Source top-notch candidates using various tools, networking and other methods.
- Work with the TA Coordinator to schedule interviews on calendars and provide confirmation of schedule to candidates.
- Maintain a constant pool of candidates to ensure shortest time-to-fill for all business units.
- Maintain highest level of confidentiality.
- Perform PI Assessments, Cognitive Testing, Background and Reference Checks
- Pre-screen resumes and phone-screen candidates.
- Initiate the offer process, which includes creating offer and obtaining necessary approvals for the offer details.
- Work closely with the managers to manage assigned job requisitions
Education & Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology or related field or equivalent experience:
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- 1-2 years recruiting, recruiting coordinator and/or HR coordinator experience inside a corporate environment.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills a must.
- Ability to work with a cross-functional team that includes all levels of the organization
- Experience with Success Factors a plus
- Ability to work independently and exercise discretion and personal judgment
- Must be extremely organized and great follow up skills
- Ability to think creatively
- Detailed knowledge of employment laws related to interviewing and hiring
