Talent Acquisition Coordinator Jobs

Zekelman Industries, Inc. seeks a Talent Acquisition Coordinator in Rochelle, IL. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, this person will be responsible for the administrative support and organization of the talent acquisition activities for the local Wheatland Tube plant. This is a contract position expected to last for 18 -24 months.

Responsibilities:

• Regular predictable onsite attendance per the approved onsite schedule is an essential function of this role.
• Backend support for iCIMS and other platforms utilized by the team.
• Continually support the recruiting strategies for industry-related positions.
• Provide high quality service to our candidates and hiring managers.
• Partner with other departments to support recruiting efforts.
• Initiate background check, onboarding and candidate engagement process.
• Develop ideas and strategies to build qualified talent pipelines.
• Manage requisition process from approved requisition status.
• Enhance diversity and military recruiting efforts via community outreach, relevant job fairs and networking.
• Screen resumes (file), conduct phone interviews, coordinate interviews for hiring managers, and support recruiters with scheduling.
• Other administrative duties as assigned.
• Conduct weekly interview and testing sessions with candidates.
• Ensure that the approved talent acquisition protocol is followed throughout the organization.
• Update weekly staffing reports/metrics: Track and analyze reporting data to make recommendations on best practices and process.
• Effectively complete projects as assigned.
• Work with local HR team to coordinate new hire start dates.

Minimum and Preferred Qualifications

• The ideal candidate for the Talent Acquisition Coordinator role will possess at least 2-3 years of coordinator/ administrative support experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Must work comfortably with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Proven track record as a results-oriented background.
• Must be able to think strategically.
• Previous experience with an Applicant Tracking System, iCIMS preferred.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills essential.
• Ability to build relationships and make decisions.
• Experience supporting a team.
• Ability to be a strong team player.
• Must take direction well.

Pay: $22.10 - $26.62 per hour
