UNCOMN is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to:
- Maintain relationships with past applicants regarding opportunities that are the best fit for their skills, talents, and growth
- Closely partner with directors, hiring managers, and other team members involved in the hiring process to assess staffing needs and requirements while gaining an understanding of the role and key attributes required for matching the right candidates to positions
- Manage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities
- Continually identify opportunities to improve recruiting strategy and candidate experience processes
- Network to foster long-term relationships with candidates, UNCOMN teammates, and community partners
- Organize and participate in university fairs, boot camp presentations, and professional networking and corporate events to support the UNCOMN brand and growth plan
- Develop talent pipelines, relationships, and partnerships that facilitate future initiatives and needs
- Maintain records used for recruitment, including interview notes and related forms, to share with key stakeholders
- Manage all aspects of the recruitment process including sourcing, pre-screening, multi-round interviews across multiple time zones, reference checks, salary negotiations, and offers in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Consult and prepare, both, candidates and hiring managers, before and after interviews
- Utilize various methods to recruit and network with candidates within the IT industry including, but not limited to, social media platforms, networking events, and job fairs
- Provide detailed feedback to leadership regarding applications and consult on candidate progression
- Review requirements and post/manage openings on UNCOMN’s public website, LinkedIn, and Indeed
Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently as well as provide strong contributions to group collaboration
- 2+ years of proven experience in Talent Acquisition with exposure to IT recruiting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word
- Strong organizational skills, with experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Experience with Applicant Tracking System(s)
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- Hands-on experience with different sourcing tools and techniques
Preferred
- Previous Talent Acquisition experience within IT Consulting and/or Government Contracting highly preferred
- Previous Kronos, LinkedIn Recruiter, and/or Indeed experience
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
