SALES RECRUITER for media and digital marketing industry
LocaliQ is the marketing solutions division of Gannett. This recruiter will be aligned with the Sales Division of our organization. Reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition, this role focuses on finding strong digital sales candidates through full cycle recruiting efforts. This is a remote work opportunity.

In this role you will:
  • Partner with the hiring managers, HR business partners and sales leaders to ensure a healthy pipeline is built against future recruitment needs in order to identify external and internal talent, and align compensation; ensuring a seamless approach to talent management
  • Full life cycle-source, technically assess, and recruit to hire full-time positions with world-class talent
  • Use a solid understanding of the company’s tools, processes, protocols and knowledge to recruit experienced candidates
  • Be a true “hunter” and find world class sales talent
  • Embrace the company’s branding strategy in the recruitment lifecycle
  • Develop and implement strategies and initiatives that will drive the overall talent acquisition process, quality of hiring, and time-to-fill goals
Here’s what you need:
  • Media industry experience a plus
  • Strong knowledge base and prior experience in full life-cycle experienced hire recruitment
  • Strong customer focus and effective use of consultative approach with clients
  • General knowledge of recruitment/hiring laws and practices
  • Digital recruiting experience a plus
  • High volume recruiting experience. Must be able to manage a workload of 20+ requisitions at a time
  • Minimum of 5 years of recruitment experience with at least 2+ years of specialized recruiting in sales, preferably from a corporate media or digital environment
  • Ability to quickly adapt to and embrace new technology and strong experience in Microsoft Office solutions, Applicant Tracking Systems, LinkedIn, social media and other platforms.
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Excellent social media knowledge and skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve complex recruitment and hiring issues with minimum guidance
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
The annualized base salary for this role will range between $59,400 and $140,300. Base compensation is reflective of many factors, including, but not limited to, the market in which one lives/works, individual education level, skills, certifications, and experience.
