The Role:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist / Coordinator will be responsible for all volume recruiting and onboarding for the AMER region as well as supporting administrative items for head office recruiting. They will play an integral part in supporting the growth of our US Escape Lounges by leading all recruiting and onboarding efforts for all hourly employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Update and maintain the Applicant Tracking System and recruitment spreadsheets.
- Support on providing monthly management information based on time to hire; quality of hire and candidate & hiring manager experience.
- Arrange interview/assessments/recruitment events including booking, coordinator, arranging appropriate resource and all materials required.
- Post adverts on appropriately sourced media including the CAVU website Indeed, Paylocity, and recruitment databases.
- Support the recruiting and onboarding cycle for head office employees
- Offer other additional support that may be required
- Support and manage recruiting events as needed
- Advise hiring managers on appropriate selection tools to incorporate assessment against CAVU’s Values and service behaviors at all stages of selection
- Day-to-day liaison and engagement with candidates and hiring managers to establish and determine assessment/interview availability and other key data points to ensure that recruitment campaigns move along efficiently.
- Manage the volume recruiting budget for AMER and advise on the most appropriate and cost effective sourcing methods such as recruiting databases, job boards, social media
- Hold campaign meetings building close relationships with hiring managers in order to manage the full end-to-end recruitment process, advising and contributing to key decisions.
- Provide an engaging and responsive service to all candidates and CAVU stakeholders.
- Build community relationships and create hiring plans by market to have a talent network nationwide.
- Process all new hire paperwork and benefit administration for new hires
- Manage the full recruiting and onboarding cycle for all hourly employees
- Reporting into the People Director, the post-holder will support the end-to-end administration and coordination of recruitment campaigns for all AMER hourly employees.
- Carry out initial shortlisting of applications and conduct phone screenings
- Compile interview/assessment packs for both the hiring manager and candidate.
- Ensure Data Protection requirements are met across the team

Skills and Experienced Required
- Experience with Microsoft Teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- 2+ years of volume recruitment experience with hourly employee roles, ideally within hospitality
- 2+ years of HR administrative experience using HRIS system(s)
- 2+ years using an ATS or job site for applicant tracking
