Svp, Head Of Strategic Planning

Orci is looking for an SVP Head of Strategic Planning with a finely tuned cultural radar to lead the

strategic planning group. Our ideal candidate will bring their multi-segment experience leading

great brand planning teams in a culture-forward, inclusive way, applying knowledge in research

and tools to uncover fresh and innovative insights/business opportunities and inspire

outstanding creative ideas.

The SVP, Head of Strategic Planning will lead strategic planning with a focus on inspiring a great

creative product that increases brand growth and business for diverse markets. In collaboration

with leadership peers in Creative, Account and Media Through this role, this position will be a

key part of reaching overall agency business development, including new business and organic

growth with current clients. They will also lead brand and culture forecasting and reporting,

providing thought leadership on trends, challenges and opportunities in the marketplace,

among segment consumer groups and diverse communities.

You are/have:

• Team oriented
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite
• Well-organized
• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
• Working knowledge of tools and platforms, including Simmons and XX
• Experience managing and mentoring a team of strategic planners
• Ability to communicate complex creative themes clearly and concisely.
• 10+ years in planning, strategic planning and related communications/advertising experience
• Multicultural Market a plus
• Working knowledge of communications planning as a discipline, a plus
• Working knowledge of a qualitative and quantitative mode of research
• Strong analytical capabilities
• Ability to collaborate at both leadership and operational levels with the goal of ensuring a
• Ability to manage several projects at once across planning team workflow
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to uncover insights from cultural signals through social listening tools, etc to stay ahead of key consumer trends
• High quality strategic and creative product
• Automotive experience a plus
• Ability to both lead and execute strategic planning initiatives
• Proven experience in inspiring creative product through strategy and insights
