β‘ Role: Head of Marketing
πΌ Industry: FinTech | Cash Flow
π Location: San Francisco (Remote)
π° Salary: $200,000k - $250,000 base + Bonus
I am currently partnered with a company that helps B2B merchants and marketplaces manage net terms for their customers by eliminating the headaches and risks of manual credit checking, payment collection, and payment reconciliation. This means our customers can get paid faster, improve their cash flow, and grow their sales.
They are seeking an exceptional Head of Marketing to modernize the B2B payments industry. This leadership position is a coach-player role, focused on driving repeatability and scalability in the company's merchant partner acquisition. You will be responsible for revenue production and work hand-in-hand with the company's founding team to establish, refine, and improve the entire marketing process. In this, your partner will be the sales and customer success teams to win new business.
What you will get to do:
β Design and create strategic plans for marketing, acquisition and growth
β Develop a data-driven approach to prioritize, test, evaluate, and optimize marketing experiments to cost-effectively acquire new customers
β Own our Inbound go-to-market strategy, including collaborating with product and customer success to refine the user experience to drive revenue growth
β Deeply understand our audience of B2B merchants
β Manage our website, content marketing, landing pages, and ads
β Manage our marketing budget, including in-house and agency spend
β Grow the business through a mix of evergreen tactics and create new campaigns
Ideal Candidates have:
β 5-8 years of experience with a wide range of sales and marketing channels (e.g., paid search, social, SEO, content, podcasts, affiliates, acquisition, growth)
β Deep familiarity with Hubspot and Salesforce.
β Basic understanding of quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; knowledge of GA, SQL, and other relevant analytics tools
β An excellent communicator; experience with media/public relations is a plus
β Strong operating and leadership skills; equally comfortable being in the weeds and leading internal and external teams
β Other attributes: deep empathy for the user, resourceful, results-driven, quality-obsessed
