Key Responsibilities
As our Supply Chain Manager, you will be the driving force behind optimizing our purchasing operations and managing the entire supply chain process. Your main responsibilities will include:
Steel Commodity Purchasing: Implementing effective strategies for purchasing steel commodities in a dynamic market with pricing fluctuations and shortages.
Supply Chain Management: Ensuring a smooth flow of materials, handling production scheduling, and overseeing shipping and receiving processes.
Inventory Management: Taking the lead in managing inventory levels and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency.
International Sourcing: Utilizing your experience in sourcing steel internationally to broaden our supplier network.
Collaborative Planning: Working closely with the CFO to develop short-term and long-term supply chain plans, while also reviewing monthly expenditures to align with budget targets.
Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for cost reduction and implementing standard operating procedures to streamline processes.

We need a proactive and skilled Supply Chain Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have:
Experience and Expertise: Significant experience in steel purchasing and comprehensive knowledge of steel market dynamics.
ERP Proficiency: Strong systems orientation and a track record of setting up processes in an ERP environment.
Leadership Skills: The ability to be a driving force in getting our processes integrated into our current ERP system.
Innovative Thinking: A fresh approach to problem-solving and a mindset focused on continuous improvement.
Team Player: Excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
Location and Compensation:
Our company is conveniently located in the Ft. Wayne vicinity, with some relocation assistance available. We offer a competitive salary in the range of $90,000 to $110,000 with a 10% performance-based bonus.
