Are you ready to take on an exhilarating opportunity? We are looking for a Territory Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Territory Manager, you will collaborate with Trek and Electra retailers in Indiana, Kentucky, and Western Ohio to build and strengthen partnerships, ultimately driving the sales of our Trek, Electra, and Bontrager products. You will be an essential part of our mission to maximize market share and ensure our product representation aligns with Trek's high standards.
But what makes the ideal candidate? We are seeking someone with sales and business development experience, a true team player with motivation, exceptional communication skills, and a knack for using computers effectively. Get ready for some travel as it's required for this role.
Responsibilities
Amplify sales of Trek, Electra Bicycles, and Bontrager Accessories by setting objectives, monitoring dealer performance, and assisting with forecasting, ordering, logistics, and all aspects of the sales process.
Appoint, develop, and consult with retailers to enhance our market presence.
Deliver product and sales training to Trek retailers in the assigned territory.
Conduct thorough market research to understand the competitive landscape and identify potential growth opportunities.
Act as a business consultant, offering recommendations to retailers for continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide exceptional customer service and cultivate strong relationships with customers.
Serve as a passionate ambassador for the Trek brands.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the cycling industry.
Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory and occasionally to Trek HQ in Wisconsin.
Availability for overnight travel.
Excellent relationship building skills.
Strong working knowledge of the Ascend Point of Sale System.
Solid organizational and follow-up skills.
Familiarity and knowledge of the local area and markets preferred.
