Summary

The Sr. Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining technical solutions for the Distribution team that will reduce error and improve results.

Essential Functions

• Own external warehouse finished good book to book reconciliation processes.

Understand floor to book inventory processes at all Eagle warehouses (both company run and 3rd party run).

Ensure that external suppliers’ physical and book inventory positions match, and that those inventory levels also match Eagle ERP inventory levels on a weekly basis.

If they do not, make needed adjustments and track causal factors for investigation if variances exceed desired levels.

• Report on inventory variance trends over time at each external warehouse.
• Accountable for the CHEP inventory reconciliation process at all Eagle locations.

Ensure CHEP requirements are understood.

Develop processes to be followed at each warehouse and audit both procedures and results to ensure that CHEP variances are minimized.

In some cases the person in this role may need to make adjustments on behalf of one or more locations.

• Track and trace intercompany shipments into forward distribution center locations.

Ensure that goods are received accurately and in a timely manner at all locations.

Clear up any hung receipts.

• Track and correct outbound shipment discrepancies at warehouse locations, including clearing shipments from 44SNI and other ‘hung’ statuses.

Clear up any hung transactions.

• Participate in improvement projects as requested.
• Track and report warehouse results across locations in support of the corporate warehouse manager.
• Organize and analyze large sets of data in the transportation area in support of annual budgeting, quarterly reforecasting and data trend analyses.
• Travel to warehouse locations, as requested, to support problem investigation, training and auditing of Eagle practices and to support project activity.
• Track and report transportation results in support of the corporate transportation manager.
• Complete assigned vendor invoice reconciliation for invoice challenge or approval.
• Develop and publish Ad Hoc and/or periodic reports that inform the organization of any current or potential for any future issues.
• Support business acceptance testing and system validation activities as requested in the transportation and warehousing areas.

Minimum Qualifications And Experience

• 3
• Consumer products experience preferred.
• Power BI experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or supply chain/logistics preferred
• Demonstrates excellent business acumen and an ability to manage cross functionally through influence.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically strong in Excel.
• Experience transacting, planning and/or scheduling in an Enterprise Resource Planning system (Infor M3, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or other similar system)
• Years of experience in supply chain supporting role(s) performing analysis of areas such as planning, transportation, and/or warehousing.
