Supply Chain Inventory Control Manager

Aethon Energy Operating LLC’s (“Aethon”) Inventory Control Manager is responsible for managing the materials and inventory control process to include, creating reports for fixed asset inventory currently in operation as well as in storage along with conducting physical inventory and cycle counts on-site across all company locations. Also responsible for maintaining approved inventory levels and replenishment orders for desired SKUs. Thisposition will be based at our main office in Dallas, TX.

DUTIES & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and maintain the inventory control database system utilizing the company’s ERP platform and coding structure for items stored in various locations and fixed assets currently in operation. This includes:
• Assist in analyzing excess inventory and develop processes to reduce and re-deploy excess inventory working with Operations, Completions, Drilling and Engineering
• Assist in annual tax renderings and verifications
• Assist in managing the database for tracking assets (equipment/non-inventory assets) in operation including serial number, location and other information as necessary
• Coordinating with suppliers and documenting vendor inventory held for company
• Manage and Supervise the Supply Chain Inventory Analyst(s) and the activities associated with the daily operations of the Company’s warehouse facilities and stock movements
• Manage the information and reporting for Company fleet operations and activities
• Recommending revisions to procedures and process to improve inventory reporting
• Assists in keeping storage yards safe and organized by observing all company safety policies and communicating issues as observed
• Conducting physical cycle counts and reconciling count discrepancies as well as reporting on the discrepancies; develop action plans to improve procedures and processes resulting in improved inventory accuracy
• Using established procedures and processes, manage inventory and materials, prevent inventory discrepancies and manage the material transfer process
• Publish reports detailing order status for items under replenishment management
• Working with Operations and Engineering to establish replenishment processes to improve cost effectiveness of in the ordering cycle to improve overall pricing and transportation costs

Requirements

Education & Work Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of prior experience in hands on inventory management/control
• Associates (2 year) Degree in Business related discipline is preferred. Equivalent experience is accepted.

Technical Skills & Knowledge:

• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Intermediate or Advanced PC Skills – MS Office
• Knowledge of gas field parts and processes

Personal & Soft Skills:

• Good problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to interact and work with people and other disciplines.

Physical & Other Requirements:

• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must be able to meet company insurability requirements at all times and hold a valid driver's license with no restriction that would prohibit driving a company vehicle
• Frequently exposed to changes in outdoor weather conditions
• Willingness and availability to work weekends, as needed
• Ability to perform indoor/outdoor activities, including lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling up to 50 pounds
• Successful candidate will be able to meet company standard background check specific to individual role prior to employment and will be subject to Company Drug & Alcohol Program
• Ability to wear PPE, as required
