Job Description

Supervises the integrity of inventory and material handling processes and information in use at RTP Company, Crockett site. Ensures that both company and customer requirements are met. Serves as the primary interface between customers and RTP Crockett Site for inventory accountability pertaining to completion reports. Provides the structure and management to meet customer requests, while satisfying performance objectives

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Attend plant safety meetings.
  • Work with Logistics Manager for inventory related transactions.
  • Possesses qualifications and abilities to train others within the scope of his/her own job description.
  • Provide timely and accurate completion reports to customers.
  • Put together and issue production job folders.
  • Ensure all materials are properly identified.
  • Interface with customer service regarding inventory related details and/or needs.
  • Communicates with customer service and/or logistics to resolve inventory related problems and maintain a strong working relationship.
  • Trouble shoot and problem solve any inventory issues related to production folders.
  • Follow plant rules, policies, and procedures.
  • File and maintain all production file folders.
  • Perform routine audits of stock.
  • Follow instructions of supervisor pertaining to job
  • Investigate discrepancies in raw material consumptions and finished material production.
  • Generate purchase requisitions in MRO and receive non-inventory orders in Cimpro.
  • Works in conjunction with Production Manager on upcoming runs and materials needed.
  • Communicates with other department managers, engineers, and CSR's to ensure RTP operation requirements and customer expectations are met.
  • Print finished product labels for all required production jobs.
  • Ensures customer requirements for inventory management, accuracy, and reporting are maintained and followed.
  • Works with the management team to investigate customer complaints and contribute to 8D report building.

  • Ability to perform inventory analysis in production and warehouse environment
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum High School Degree or equivalent.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in production and/or inventory management preferred.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong computer skills.
  • Ability to speak, read and write English language

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Regularly required to sit for long periods of time as well as look at a computer screen.
  • Occasional travel to other locations may be required.
