Job Description

About the Role

Ariat is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst will identify opportunities to solve operational and business challenges to enhance profitability throughout the company by monitoring, analyzing, and improving the supply chain performance. This team member will be responsible for identifying performance trends while using facts and data to provide recommendations to yield supply chain improvements.

The ideal candidate uses outstanding analytic and problem-solving skills to be able to report, forecast, diagnose, and implement process improvement.


You’ll Make a Difference By

  • Auditing supply chain processes and systems: creating and reporting measures of health and performance.
  • Prepare and present analysis on insights detailing operational forecasting metrics and performance
  • Assembling and analyzing internal and external transactional and master data to discern trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities as identified through analysis and team prioritization.
  • Ensuring consistency/integrity between multiple systems and identifying anomalies and/or potential vulnerabilities; evaluating and recommending implementation of system enhancements to resolve.
  • Working across functional groups to coordinate efforts and ensure success; drive change management by understanding and communicating changes associated with system enhancements, implementations, and process improvements.


About You

  • Ability to synthesize information from a variety of sources to arrive at optimal solutions

  • Strong reporting, forecasting, diagnosis, statistical analysis, process improvement and planning and strategy skills.

  • Demonstrated high levels of initiative and the ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
  • Statistical Analysis Methods
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in distribution center operations and transportation, analyzing supply chain data and presenting results of analytics and implementing process improvements
  • Ability to prioritize and execute
  • Comfortable working with and articulating financial and business concepts to management.
  • SAP (**AFS)
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • WMS systems
  • Ability to manage team priorities, work cooperatively, influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a very fast paced environment
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines and handle multiple projects
  • Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, and other Microsoft applications
  • BA/BS degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business or related field
  • Experience working with Analytical tools (SQL, Cognos, Access, Tableau, Power Pivot, BOBJ)

The salary rate for this position is $70,000 per year.



The salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data for geographic locations. Ariat in good faith believes that this posted compensation range is accurate for this role at this location at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
