Job Description

Petalfast is the first-of-its-kind route-through-market platform for the cannabis industry. Petalfast's vision is to make cannabis brands better with its practices, partnerships, and people through our go-to-market accelerator, field + trade, + pilot incubator programs. Notable cannabis brands already engaged in the Petalfast platform include Wonderbrett, Emerald Sky, Old Pal, and Wunder.

Job Responsibilities


  • Analyze and interpret p&ls at the brand and product line levels. Ensure all promotional margin erosion is captured via billback
  • Share responsibility for the delivery of volume and revenue objectives consistent with overall brand strategy
  • Other responsibilities and duties as assigned
  • Spend time weekly in-field to inform sales strategy and product positioning for brand-partners. Establishes relationships with key retailers and internal sales and field and trade teams to enhance revenue targets
  • Define programming quarterly including sales programming and in-store activations for each brand-partner
  • Build consumer and retailer equity through execution of strategies including pricing, packaging, promotion, digital advertising and consumer event activations, using market research where appropriate to inform strategies
  • Prepare and present branded presentations to both internal and external audiences
  • Work cross functionally to manage and collaborate on revenue driving projects across the organization
  • Provide on-going business and competitive analyses and provide findings and recommendations for corrective action from sales and field and trade teams
  • Manage brand relationships, strategy, buy-in, and projects for assigned brands within Petalfast's accelerator portfolio
  • Responsible for inventory management, sales projections, gap tracking, overall budget allocation and quarterly planning to revenue targets
  • Analyze key markets in support of market blitzes, new product launches, surveys, etc. and report brand and competitive findings as well as any market driven recommendations to senior management


Requirements


  • 2+ years of event planning/management
  • 5+ years of sales and marketing experience
  • Bachelor's degree or experience equivalent
  • Cannabis industry experience a plus
  • Experience in CPG client services, hospitality management and/or food and beverage industries, preferred
  • Distribution and alcohol experience a plus
  • Field Marketing experience a plus
  • Must have a valid driver's license and must be able to drive extended periods of time

This position requires frequent sitting, standing, reaching, walking, and operating a computer workstation.

The pay range for this position is $80,000-$95,000.
