Staff Accountant - Remote | Wfh

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and hands-on Accountant to join our dynamic team. This position presents an incredible growth opportunity for the right individual. We're in search of an independent, personable, and quick learner to provide vital support to our leadership team. This role is offered as a remote/hybrid position, with regular in-person meetings with the CEO required. Candidates must be based within the greater Denver metro area.
Responsibilities
Architect Robust Accounting Processes: Craft comprehensive accounting procedures for monthly reporting, revenue recognition, accounts receivable/accounts payable management, payroll, tax compliance, annual audits, systems enhancement, treasury management, and other relevant aspects.
Financial Projections and Modeling: Develop forward-looking financial projections and models to guide strategic decision-making.
Daily Financial Oversight: Execute day-to-day, monthly, and yearly financial accounting tasks, culminating in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Collaboration with External Partners: Coordinate effectively with external partners, including lenders, auditors, and other advisors as necessary.
Team Building: Lead and nurture a capable team that will oversee the accounting functions of a company poised to achieve $100 million in revenue in less than three years.
Experience
Academic Background: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, ideally coupled with an advanced degree or CPA qualification.
Professional Expertise: Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least three years of operational accounting experience. Previous audit experience is highly regarded.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership abilities, coupled with problem-solving skills and a knack for strategic thinking.
Organizational Proficiency: Exceptional organizational and analytical capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving work environment.
Technical Competence: Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
