Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for shaping a positive and inclusive university community? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Director to lead our Risk Management and People Services team at our vibrant Arapahoe Campus!
About Us

You will play a pivotal role in collaborating with institutional leaders, including the President, Vice Presidents, Deans, and department heads. Together, we will assess and mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations impacting our university.
Key Responsibilities
Risk Management:
Develop and implement effective university policies in line with local, state, and federal laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and alignment.
Foster a collaborative approach to policy development, encouraging dialogue and shared decision-making with stakeholders.
Identify areas of risk and proactively work with stakeholders to implement corrective measures.
Oversee annual insurance renewals and provide essential risk management support.
People Services And Campus Partnerships
Lead the People Services team, integrating restorative and DEI practices into their work.
Provide ongoing training and support on protected class federal and state antidiscrimination laws for students and employees.
Collaborate with Vice Presidents on performance issues and strive for positive resolutions.
Ensure adherence to ADA, Section 504, and other federal, state, and local laws related to accessibility and accommodation for individuals with disabilities.
University Leadership
Become an esteemed member of our Executive Leadership Committee (ELC).
Offer support to the Board of Trustees in developing and implementing policies and procedures.
What We Require
A Master's Degree or a Juris Doctor degree.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in higher education, including expertise in Title IX, Disabilities Services, and/or codes of conduct development.
Strong knowledge of current state and federal laws and regulations related to discrimination.
Experience managing civil rights grievances and sexual violence prevention efforts.
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
